Diagnostics and Imaging Services

The state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging equipment used at AICA Tucker helps your Chiropractors make a detailed assessment of your injuries. We use X-ray, MRI, and CT scans to establish the baseline for your personalized treatment plan, which is based on the extent and location of your injuries.

We start with X-rays to identify injuries sustained to bones or joints, as well as injuries that need urgent attention. MRIs allow us to go deeper than the initial X-ray, providing a 3D view of your body’s soft tissue structures. Soft tissue damage can’t be detected by an X-ray, so an MRI ensures all injuries are diagnosed and treated. A CT scan can diagnose hard-to-find injuries, such as hairline fractures.

Fluoroscopy imaging shows a continuous X-ray image of the body in real time, which helps your doctor verify that your bones are in their proper positions. We can also use fluoroscopy while your body is in motion to determine if your joints are functioning properly.
