About Our Imaging Services

AICA Tucker’s services are unique because of our complete medical integration results in delivering all-inclusive care to our patients. Our clinic features a complete staff of medical doctors, orthopedic specialists, chiropractors, and physical therapists, all working together at one injury treatment practice. This allows AICA Tucker’s patients to receive the complete care they need at one center, rather than losing time and money by visiting multiple single-discipline locations.

We start with diagnostic testing to assess your condition after a car accident, which provides the baseline for your treatment. Once the tests have been performed and reviewed, our team of medical experts will develop an individualized treatment plan to help you fully recover from your injuries.

Diagnostics and Imaging Services

The state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging equipment used at AICA Tucker helps your Chiropractors make a detailed assessment of your injuries. We use X-ray, MRI, and CT scans to establish the baseline for your personalized treatment plan, which is based on the extent and location of your injuries.

We start with X-rays to identify injuries sustained to bones or joints, as well as injuries that need urgent attention. MRIs allow us to go deeper than the initial X-ray, providing a 3D view of your body’s soft tissue structures. Soft tissue damage can’t be detected by an X-ray, so an MRI ensures all injuries are diagnosed and treated. A CT scan can diagnose hard-to-find injuries, such as hairline fractures.

Fluoroscopy imaging shows a continuous X-ray image of the body in real time, which helps your doctor verify that your bones are in their proper positions. We can also use fluoroscopy while your body is in motion to determine if your joints are functioning properly.

Advanced Imaging Equipment

Here at AICA Orthopedics, we have only the best imaging equipment. It is the most advanced, most up-to-date, and most effective equipment available today in medical imaging. We can run one test or several, depending on what your situation necessitates. We will explore all possibilities for the cause of injury or disease before we begin our imaging diagnostics so that we make the most of our time and yours, and so that we can fully explore every possibility for the root cause of your discomfort. While we have other diagnostic procedures available should we need them, our imaging equipment helps us diagnose a large number of injuries and ailments so that we can properly treat you.

MRI

This type of imaging is noninvasive and uses no radiation, but it can detect problems in all of your soft tissue, including your muscles, ligaments, tendons, cartilage, spinal discs, blood vessels, organs, and more. MRIs can help us find cancer, brain injuries, MS, bone infections, joint damage, heart disease, and more.

CT Scan

This type of imaging allows us to view the inside of the body in 3D, including your bones, organs, and other tissues. It takes multiple X-Ray images from a variety of angles to create cross-sectional images, allowing us to see more in-depth than a standard X-Ray. CT Scans can help detect hairline fractures, heart disease, blood clots, cancer, tumors, infections, and more.

X-Ray

Our digital X-Ray capabilities allow us to see an X-Ray image immediately after it’s been taken, allowing us to more quickly and effectively diagnose breaks and other bone concerns. X-Rays can also give doctors insight into arthritis, dislocated joints, and other causes of bone or joint pain. X-Rays are also commonly used to diagnose lung problems like pneumonia and tuberculosis.

Fluoroscopy

This imaging technology is like a continuous X-Ray. It can be used to diagnose a number of ailments and injuries, but it can also be used during a medical procedure in which extreme precision and safety are absolutely vital. Fluoroscopy can help doctors diagnose pain during movement, and it can assist doctors in cardiac catheter insertion, among other things.
